Venice Biennale

We also visited the Venice Biennale, the biggest and most important art show in the world. Each participating country has their own pavilion where they showcase their works to the international art-viewing public. Pictured here are 2 motor-rotated works from the Georgian pavilion.

Altogether, the works were refreshing and formed a counterpoint to Venice's rich history. The city has intelligently positioned itself as a festival town, leaving visitors coming back for more each time. Besides the art show, there is also the architecture, film, dance, music, theatre and historical writing biennale, of which the Venice Film Fest is the most famous.
