>>Seville
We flew to Seville, an old medieval town in the Southern part of Spain, a region known as Andalucia. It's the 4th largest city in Spain after Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. First, something more about Andalucia: It is a very regional province with culture quite different from the rest of Spain. It is largely influenced by the Moorish empire, who were Spanish-Muslim. (If you look on the map, South Spain is nearer to North Africa than continental Europe, so it is an interesting mix. We were there on Sat and Sun, and everything shut down like Chinese New Year. So slack...But still, the whole place was very nice to wander around in, especially at night. Tapas + Sangria (Red wine with fruits and juice) + Paella (hot plate seafood mui-fan) + flamenco + bull fights = good Spanish fun. Siesta (Apanish afternoon nap) is bad though...
